Sven Strunk
Sven Strunk, born 1957 in Hamburg, studied in Konstanz, München and Lausanne. He graduated at the Technische Universität München with a masters in chemistry. In 1987, Sven received his PhD in science at the University of Lausanne, followed by a masters in economics at the University of Hagen.
He started his professional career in the chemical industry with Ciba in Basel, Ciba in the USA, followed by an employment at Novartis Crop Protection AG.
From 1998 until March 2006 Sven hold the position as CEO of Mibelle AG Cosmetics in Buchs, Switzerland, which produces body cosmetics. Mibelle belongs to Switzerland’s market leader Migros Group and showed a strong economic growth rate in the past 7 years.
