General Electric (GE) has appointed Dr.-Ing. Carlos H�rtel (44) as the new Managing Director of the GE Global Research Center Europe in 2007. In his previous position, Carlos H�rtel managed the Laboratory for Alternative Energies at the Global Research Center Europe.
