Dr. Karlheinz Steinmüller
Dr. Karlheinz Steinmüller is member of the Advisory Board of the European Futurists Conference Lucerne.
Karlheinz Steinmüller is scientific director and founding partner of Z_punkt GmbH – The Foresight Company at Essen and Berlin. Since 1991 engaged in future studies, he is leading studies for public administrations, for the European Commission and for large enterprises. His special fields of expertise include innovations in companies and society, technological foresight and technology assessment, and scenario development. He has published several books on futures studies, most recently "Wild Cards" (2004). Besides that, Steinmüller has much experience as keynote speaker on different future topics. He is member of the European Advisory Board of the Global Future Forum, chairman of the International Advisory Board of the Finland Futures Academy, member of the Collège Européen de Prospective Territoriale and other bodies.
Karlheinz obtained a physics diploma from Humboldt University Berlin and has graduated in philosophy. He has been engaged in modeling and simulation of ecological systems, and he has written four science fiction novels and numerous stories together with his wife Angela. He lives at Berlin.
